CONNECT Day – A successful closing event

25 September, 2025

On Monday, 22 September 2025, the CONNECT consortium held its final event – CONNECT Day – marking the official wrap-up of the project. We were delighted to welcome more than 50 online participants from both research organizations and the automotive industry.

The event began with a keynote by the Chairman of the CCAM Partnership, who not only underlined the importance of trust and security in advancing connected, cooperative, and automated mobility, but also presented upcoming Horizon Europe calls for future scientific collaboration in the CCAM area.

Throughout the sessions, the consortium shared insights into the CONNECT Trust Assessment Framework (TAF) and how it can be applied to different CCAM scenarios such as Intersection Movement Assist, Slow-Moving Traffic Detection and Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control. In addition, demonstrations showcased the cryptographic mechanisms integrated into our framework.

Overall, CONNECT Day was a great success, providing participants with a comprehensive overview of our results and their relevance for future research in the automotive sector.
