The CONNECT project consortium was proud to contribute to escar Europe 2024, which took place on 19–20 November in Dortmund, Germany. As a leading conference on automotive cybersecurity, escar Europe brought together experts, researchers, and industry leaders to discuss the future of secure mobility systems.
Our scientific coordinator, Prof. Frank Kargl from the University of Ulm, played a pivotal role as one of the event’s co-organizers, ensuring a dynamic and thought-provoking program. A highlight of the conference was the insightful talk by CONNECT project collaborators Anna Angeloggiani and Nikos Fotos from Ubitech, who delved into the critical topics of trust and privacy in Connected, Cooperative, and Automated Mobility (CCAM). Their session emphasized the importance of addressing trust and privacy challenges in CCAM scenarios, sparking lively discussions among participants. These conversations underlined the shared commitment to building secure, trustworthy mobility ecosystems — a mission at the heart of the CONNECT project.
The event was a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange and collaboration, helping to drive innovation and strengthen partnerships in the field of cybersecurity for mobility.
