Join Our Upcoming Webinar: Trust & Trustworthiness in CCAM – May 28, 2025 | 10:00 CEST

We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming webinar on “Trust & Trustworthiness in Cooperative, Connected, and Automated Mobility (CCAM)”, taking place on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025 at 10:00 CEST via Teams. This online event is part of our ongoing efforts to explore the ethical and societal dimensions of automated driving, building on the momentum of our recent Workshop on Trustworthy AI.

Why Trust Matters in CCAM

Trust and trustworthiness are vital pillars for the success of CCAM systems. This webinar will explore how trust and trustworthiness intersect with CCAM through the lens of the European Commission’s Ethics Guidelines for Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence, developed by the High-Level Expert Group on AI (AI HLEG). This framework defines seven essential requirements that contribute to trustworthy AI:

  • Human agency and oversight
  • Technical robustness and safety
  • Privacy and data governance
  • Transparency
  • Diversity, non-discrimination, and fairness
  • Societal and environmental wellbeing
  • Accountability

What to Expect

Together with experts and participants, we will discuss how these ethical and legal dimensions shape the development and deployment of CCAM technologies. At the end of the webinar, participants will be invited to complete an online survey. This survey will collect views on how trust can influence the adoption of CCAM, how the trustworthiness of CCAM systems can be strengthened among drivers and other end-users and, what ethical and legal constraints need to be considered in this context. Please note: the survey is not designed to gather technical feedback, but rather to map societal and regulatory concerns around trust in CCAM.
